Job Description Details:

Hours: 40/week, Mon - Fri.

Supervisors: Board of Directors, Akwesasne Chamber of Commerce


Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Akwesasne Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Marketing Coordinator will revamp existing social activities and services onto a digital platform, payment processing, bulk e-mail and updating/maintaining media platform.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Update, add or modify Chamber website; 

  • Coordinate business training sessions online with Zoom; 

  • Provide technical support / referrals to Chamber and member businesses; 

  • Initiate online workshops, sign ups and maintain attendance payments; 

  • Convert cash payment system to online transfers; 

  • Issue community bulletins, develop email platform to update members;

  • Provide communications / updates to partner organizations, TriChamber Alliance, NCCC, Massena Chamber.


Qualifications & Education:

  • 1-2 years Business Technology, Business Admin. with emphasis on media relations

  • Some experience managing and updating websites, media platforms


Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently

  • Creative

  • Mature

  • Capable of Public Speaking

  • MS Office skills

  • Website Management skills
