Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education & Training Institute held three info sessions in January to invite the community of Akwesasne to check out their upcoming Fall 2020 programs.

If you were interested but missed these sessions we have a sneak peak at the their new Pathways to Indigenous Empowerment program. Below you will find the Pathways to Indigenous Empowerment info sheet you would have received at one of Iohahi:io's info sessions. Check it out!

More about the program:

"Pathways to Indigenous Empowerment - Preparation" is a one year program that was designed in partnership with Algonquin College to bring you a unique opportunity that will help you develop academic and career skills while exploring traditional knowledge.

This program helps prepare you for post-secondary studies and beyond to give you better employment opportunities for your future. With this certificate you can prove to future employers that you are capable of learning at a post-secondary level. As a graduate, you can choose to start working or continue your education further. Which ever you decide, enrolling at Iohahi:io is a great first step in furthering your academic and career skills.
